10-Day Harp Intensive:
Being a musician involves not only performance-skills but entrepreneurship, creative marketing, and music accessibility for all audiences. This 10-Day intensive will include both solo and ensemble performance and highlight the development of musical entrepreneurship skills.
Often, we are learning on the job how to adapt our music for our diverse audiences. This 10-Day Intensive will help you enhance your performance skills, and workshop a solo piece (or two!) that you’d like to perform in all different community settings: art galleries, museums, libraries, nursing homes, and church services. You will perform in these community venues for the opportunity to hone these skills.
Our 10-Day Intensive includes morning yoga, and daily rehearsal with other harpists in small and large harp ensembles, concluding with a final harp ensemble concert. There is an opportunity to perform your solo (optional) at this concert as well.
Please fill out application form before completing registration. Spots cannot be held until tuition fee is paid.
Fellowship opportunities available! Feel free to inquire at dorsetharpcolony@gmail.com for more information.
